some notes from today

hello lovelies

thanks for a great if exhausting day. i've written down as much as i can remember from our conversations today. please feel free to add, amend, edit, correct! thought it would be a good idea to get all this down asap. please read through, i've added questions, notes, and all that, please have a look and respond on the blog perhaps? also, a reminder of the propos lists and the schedule, but as i say, it may all have altered.
who will have time to look into sawdust - Did you say you could, Gemma?
Andrew very klindly said he'd play with the design of a little invitation, we should think about a title? perhaps we could use an image of spectacles?
Helena has very kindly volunteered to check out space and tech stuff such as mics, please let her know if there's something else.

Some notes re: session 20/11/08

GPP Draft structure 20/11/08
Design thoughts:
 Stage covered with Sawdust with reflective material underneath
 Five columns at the back wall
 Individualised ‘home’ chairs
 Personal costumes
Throughout:
 Each event is swept off to the back by the ‘cleaning lady’
 Some objects presented throughout
 A sack of carrots near a microphone
 Sacks of petals
Events:
Spectacles 1 [everyone]
 Enter – sit on chairs – spectacles – contact lenses?
 ‘The more I see you’ tune
Cakes 1 + Object presentation [Elena, Dimitrios, Joonas, Gemma + rest]
 Clear off chairs, start putting on costume, bring on tables and cake ingredients whilst ‘presenting’ each of them individually – lot of action
 Ready-made cake and Elena banging her head in it
